Say a little...

If you're blogging this afternoon, say a little prayer for me, please. Everything is okay, baby is fine, and we're all healthy, I'm just not doing my best as a mom today. My patience is being tested beyond my limits and I'm finding it very difficult at this precise moment to enjoy being at home and caring for my toddler.

But, this is where I am, and this is what I was given to do today.  Please pray that we can bounce back soon and that I am given the grace to cope with the task at hand.

Hang in there. Every single mom knows exactly how you are feeling. I know that probably doesn't help much in the moment. Don't feel bad about asking for HELP....or calling a friend to come over even for 15 minutes to give you a moment to breath. Believe me, everyone needs to do that every now and then....for your own sanity and the well being of your child(ren). If not, take solace in the fact that at this point Mark is (hopefully) winding up his day and will be home in short order.

Tomorrow IS another day. You CAN conquer each one even if only by the hour or minute. You CAN and you WILL survive them and eventually you'll find your balance even in the chaos and unknown.

You can count on my prayers anytime.....

THANK YOU!!! I did take about ten minutes with him crying in his bedroom to just to say a few "Hail Mary's" and then focus on how to turn the afternoon around. Of course, that's SO difficult when you planned on taking a nap, get two loads of laundry done and prepare dinner. Once Luke is disciplined, he bounces right back, but for me, I can hold a grudge for the rest of the day, so this week has been a total test of selfless mothering.

Anyway, Mark isn't working late tonight (huge blessing), and I spent the last two hours coloring, doing puzzles, reading books aloud and trying as hard as I could not to carry my anger through the rest of the day. It's working, so thank you for the prayers!!!

I'm so sorry that you are having a tough day! I will offer some prayers for you, and I know exactly how you are feeling. Your due date is so close, and I know there are so many things you need to do.

I can't wait to hear about your new baby, and I am praying that you have a safe delivery and healthy baby!

I love your blog, and especially the name, as I feel like that MANY days (my kids are 5,4,and 7 months).
