"A woman by her very nature is maternal -- for every woman, whether ... married or unmarried, is called upon to be a biological, psychological or spiritual mother -- she knows intuitively that to give, to nurture, to care for others, to suffer with and for them -- for maternity implies suffering -- is infinitely more valuable in God's sight than to conquer nations and fly to the moon."

Let me know if you do - and what you think!
I agree! I want to be able to sleep after seeing it!
I don't know if I'll be able to watch it. I NEVER watch scary movies because I get scared SO easily. When it comes to things like evil and possession I just about lose my lunch. I WANT to see it because I think it looks interesting, but it might just be too scary.
Anyone want to go see The Black Swan with me?
Me too!! Scary movies that is . . . we have a strict policy about scary movies in our house. Nothing that can disturb one's inner peace. I had a priest tell me once, "When in doubt, throw it out!"
But the movie does look interesting.
I'm with you, Mal...I CANNOT watch anything scary...especially movies that involve the work of the devil. Paul is going tonight with Dave and Erik...I will let you know what they think; however, I may not even want to hear about it...
Also, Mark just informed me that The Black Swan is a "psycho-sexual thriller." Um, didn't know that! I thought it was about ballet!
Maybe we WON'T be seeing any movies this weekend!
