This means that I drink coffee, type, brush my teeth, fill the dishwasher, do laundry, fix breakfast, and accomplish every other task a bit more slowly since my left arm is always holding the little one.
I am not yet able to fold clothes or sweep one-handed, but I'm working on it.

Thanks for the site, Sarah, I'll take a look at it. I have a peanut shell sling that isn't quite hands-free since it's nearly straps one shoulder down. I have a Baby Bjorn that I like, it's great for outdoors and walking, but it's too complicated to get on and off for around the house. I really want to find a sling that works for me, but so far I haven't found one that works well enough that I actually use it instead of just jiggling the baby around. I'm excited to see what your SIL has come up with!

It is SOO much better on the back than any other that I have used (including the baby bjorn and various slings). I found my used on www.thebabywearer.com You have to register to become apart of the forum, but I found the hassle well worth it! Thanks to both of you for the sling suggestions. I'm more of a baby holder than a baby-wearer, but I'd definitely covert if I found something more convenient.
Alright, Catie, what makes the Beco so wonderful?? It looks like a basic Mei Tei carrier, but it's SO expensive? What makes it so much better than the Baby Bjorn? How did you decide to get that one over other carriers, and how did you know that it was worth the expense? I'm very curious now...
