You have to take what you can get...
Wherever you can get it...
And worry about the consequences...
And the mess....
Much, much, later...
All for the sake of a little fun.

"A woman by her very nature is maternal -- for every woman, whether ... married or unmarried, is called upon to be a biological, psychological or spiritual mother -- she knows intuitively that to give, to nurture, to care for others, to suffer with and for them -- for maternity implies suffering -- is infinitely more valuable in God's sight than to conquer nations and fly to the moon."

Excellent . . . you're such a good Mama for letting them do this :)
Looks like our afternoon yesterday! What's the deal with no pint sized rubber boots though? The ones that fit Claire are the smallest I could find. C'mon, the one and a half year old crowd loves puddles too! Oh well, I guess Belle will have to go barefoot like PJ...
what size shoes are the boys? i've got a little baby gift sitting here with your name on it and i've got a huge box full of every size rubber boot (my mom hit a crazy sale last year and bought out the store for us). i can throw in a couple pairs when i mail your box. i think we have at least 2 pair of each size from 5-12. let me know.
looks like tons of fun!!!!!
My kids have tiny but WIDE feet, so they need a size (or two) bigger than their feet actually are. I would say a 10 for Luke and a 7 for Paul, although I bet Luke could fit in an 11, too. Boots for our boys usually end in tears, they have such fat feet! Thank you!
We ended the day with mudpies and "chocolate rain." Boys are now pant-less and running around in T-shirts. Ahh...spring.
I'll second that - way to go, Mom, for likely cringing at the mess but allowing it anyway! I have to do that too, I just try to make sure they are in dark clothes so I don't have to scrub stains!
