The Sacrilege!

My almost 17 month old is a terror on two feet. Pay no mind to that delightful smile, his mischievous antics are as powerful as his sweet smile. We love him--no, adore him really, and despite his youth, knows he is the delight of his parents and brothers.

Still, he gets into an awful amount of trouble.

Today, while I was buttering toast and trying to keep my knife within view while slicing apples, Michael decided it was the perfect time to test his boundaries. Into the bathroom he went. Within a split second, the toilet seat went up, his hands dipped in, and before I could screech to my horror, he made the complete Sign of the Cross with his fingers, wet from the toilet water.

No, child, I am afraid to tell you that not all water is Holy Water. Excuse me while I google the symptoms for dysentery.

YOU JUST MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Helena used to do this when we used to have the water jugs delivered to our home..i was getting sick of water all over the floor from her filling up the "overflow' thingy with water and then blessing herself..wasteful and also it was just icky thinking of her dirty hands touching all over the spout and everything..but now i see that it could have, in fact, been much worse! haha! hope you are feeling well! And...have you found out for sure what you are having????

Thanks, Maria! Yes, Michael, I swear, is the happiest child ever, but he sure keeps us on our toes!

We don't know what we're having. Looks like that ship has sailed...I guess #4 will be a surprise. I have the blue washed and ready to be used again, but have a pack of hair bows, too...JUST IN CASE!!! :-)

Baby is due Dec. 10th. As of today, that puts me about 10 weeks out. I've been a week to two weeks early each time though, so I'm starting my "maternity leave" after Christmas, which for me is just keeping the calendar free and clear for baby to arrive :-) .

Clarification: I'm starting leave after Thanksgiving! Having a baby in the middle of two holidays is a lot to prepare for!
